The 3M™ 9448AB Black Double-Coated Tissue Tape is an ultra-thin, high-tack bonding solution specifically designed for precision electronic repairs, touchscreen display assemblies, and fine trim mounting. Built with a 0.15mm (6 mil) non-woven tissue carrier saturated with high-performance acrylic adhesive, it provides aggressive initial adhesion, excellent conformability to uneven surfaces, and an opaque black core that effectively eliminates edge light leakage in digital displays.

Application & Installation Instructions
- Surface Prep: Thoroughly clean the bezel channel and glass edges with 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to completely clear old glue residues, grease, and dust.
- Placement: Lay tape down along the border without stretching the carrier. Press firmly along the tape line using a plastic spudger or roller to eliminate trapped air pockets.
- Peel & Set: Carefully peel away the white release liner. Position the replacement screen accurately and apply continuous clamping pressure for 15–30 minutes to ensure a full, solid perimeter bond.
