Surface Compatibility

Application Instructions

• Surface Cleaning: Clean bonding surfaces thoroughly with a 50:50 isopropyl alcohol and water mixture to remove all dirt, oil, and wax. Allow to dry completely.
• Positioning: Apply the pad firmly to the item and rub down thoroughly.
• Bond Activation: Remove the red protective release liner, align the item accurately, and apply firm, uniform pressure (at least 15 psi / 1 kg/cm²) for 15–30 seconds.
• Full Cure Time: 3M VHB develops 50% bond strength in 20 minutes, 90% in 24 hours, and 100% full cure after 72 hours at room temperature.
